On Monday, 2/1 6th Grade students will be given their new Chromebooks. This is a pilot program, and we are excited to see the impact this has. Students learned of this last week with a Chromebook Kick-off event. If you are a parent of a 6th Grader, please get the Google Apps permission slip signed. All Albright students now have access to Google Apps as well.

Your son/daughter will complete Semester 1 on January 15th. The only classes impacted by this are Specials (music, art, tech, band, orchestra, Spanish). Starting Tuesday 1/19, your son/daughter's schedule will change slightly as they start a new Special's schedule, but the periods will stay the same. The grades for Semester 1 will be sent home soon after, in a separate report card.

Students may have been having trouble accessing their Powerschool accounts. Students and parents have separate accounts, so your son/daughter will be getting a label with their own account information on it today (9/17). This will always be in their assignment notebook, so there should be no more issues. Parents still have to create an account to gain access, but students don't. Parents can always just use their son/daughter's information if they do not want to create an account. If you have questions about this, please contact Ms. Aulisa at gaulisa@saltcreek48.org.

We know that cafeteria food has not always had the best reputation, but we are proud to say that students are extremely happy with our new food service this year. Arbor is our new meal service, and their food quality has been amazing. Our teachers have been eating the cafeteria food more than ever, as are the students. Please make sure you are taking advantage of this great service. Arbor serves breakfast and lunch to our students daily. Please call the main office if you have any questions.
