As of July 1st, 2019, I am no longer the Principal of Salt Creek School. I will not be going far, and will see you all again in a few years when your children start 5th Grade at Albright Middle School, where I am now the Principal. I am very excited about moving back to the school I taught in, but will miss working with our little preschool through first grade friends.

I have had so many wonderful memories while working at Salt Creek School for the last 6 years. From field trips, to the funny things kids say, every year has been a new adventure. The Salt Creek Staff is one of a kind and they truly treat the students as their own. Our teachers and staff are a family and work together to give your children the absolute best! I am going to greatly miss working with all of them.

I am thrilled to announce that Mrs. Sarah Smith is the new Principal at Salt Creek School. She has been the Assistant Principal at Salt Creek School for two years and then was at Swartz School last year. She has many years of teaching experience at the elementary level and knows our students and families extremely well. She is the absolute best person to hand Salt Creek School over to and I am excited to continue working side by side with her.

We also hired a new Assistant Principal, Mrs. Sarah Monroe, to replace Mrs. Smith. Mrs. Monroe will be splitting her time between Salt Creek School and Albright Middle School. She has many years of elementary and middle school experience, specifically working in Special Education. We cannot wait for you all to meet her and know she will fit our District 48 family extremely well.

I am sad to leave Salt Creek School, but know our students and families are in amazing hands! Have a great summer and we will see you in the Fall.   - Gerrie Aulisa
