Earlier this week, the Illinois Principals Association hosted its annual Student Recognition Breakfast. Albright Middle School was proud to recognize two outstanding eighth-grade students: Lena and Jacob!

A huge congratulations to our AMS Boys Volleyball teams on an outstanding season!
The 8th grade team capped off their season at 11–1, earning a conference co-championship this year. This extended their streak to 3 consecutive conference titles, a spectacular 3-peat!
Our 7th grade team finished 9–3, tying for 2nd place in the conference and doing this with only two returning players, a remarkable accomplishment!
Even more impressive was the way both teams carried themselves all season long on the court, competing hard while showing respect and sportsmanship to teammates, opponents, and officials.
We are proud of you, Vikings!

Introducing THE SMILE SQUAD! Salt Creek District 48 is teaming up again this year with the DuPage Health Department Dental Program to offer FREE dental exams to ALL students. The Smile Squad is coming to Albright Middle School on Wednesday, April 29th! The Smile Squad is a fully equipped dental truck that provides free dental services to students, including a cleaning and sealants for those who qualify. If your child participates, the Smile Squad will provide proof of an exam that meets the Illinois State school requirements. Consent forms were recently sent home with students. If you are interested in your child participating, please fill out and return the consent form to your child’s health office. Reach out to Danyelle Olsen, District nurse with any questions (

After working hard on their iReady lessons for the last month, Albright students earned some reward time on Friday afternoon! Students could choose between board games, a PE game, Geoguessing, owl pellet dissection, a Valentines craft, walking outside, and socializing!
