Hello Albright Middle School Families!
I am excited and honored to write this letter of introduction as the new Principal of Albright Middle School. Continuing the serve the hardworking staff and students of Salt Creek District 48 as the middle school principal is truly a privilege.
Over the past 15 years, I have served middle school students as a Spanish teacher, Science teacher, Assistant Principal, and now Principal. These experiences have helped me to deeply understand the middle school student, not only in what they learn academically but also in how they navigate this difficult, yet exciting stage of life emotionally and socially.
As the principal of Albright Middle School, I would like to welcome you to our school, home of the Vikings. I strongly believe that all students can achieve their goals through hard work and dedication. The staff at AMS is second to none and works tirelessly to provide an excellent education as well as a multitude of extracurricular offerings.
During the middle school years, students begin to gain more independence; however, a strong partnership between parents and educators continues to be crucial to help our students thrive. Please do not hesitate to reach out to your child’s teacher or me throughout the school year. We are a team, and every member of this team wants to see your child succeed.
On a personal note, my husband, Garrett, and I have recently celebrated our 13th anniversary and have three beautiful children: Calvin (6th grade), Henry (4th grade), and Lucy (2nd grade).
I look forward to meeting and working with each of you throughout the school year. Albright Middle School has seen some incredible gains over the past few years, and I know that our dedicated students, staff, and families will continue soaring.
