REGISTRATION INFORMATION
New Student Registration
If your child is new to the district, please make sure to provide all required residency documentation listed under the “New Student” tab on the left side of the screen.
In addition, a birth certificate is required to begin the registration process.
Returning Students Only - Verification of Residency for
For returning students, we are using new residency verification software this year.
You do not need to upload or submit residency documents at this time.
You must complete the residency verification section within Skyward during returning student registration to confirm that your current address is correct.
If the system identifies any discrepancies, District 48 staff will contact you and request additional documentation to confirm residency.
👉 Returning students only need to complete the Skyward verification unless further proof of residency is requested.
Preschool & Kindergarten Developmental Screening
Salt Creek Primary School offers a free developmental screening for:
Preschool-aged children (ages 3–5)
Students entering Kindergarten for the 2025–2026 school year
This screening provides families with general information about their child’s development and is available to all district families.
We assess:
Speech and language development
Letter and sound recognition
Early numeracy skills
Fine motor skills
Social-emotional development
Salt Creek staff will contact you to schedule an appointment once school is back in session.
