Another successful ski trip for Albright students today! We had a blast and had the best weather! A school favorite field trip every year!

Introducing THE SMILE SQUAD! Salt Creek District 48 is teaming up again this year with the DuPage Health Department Dental Program to offer FREE dental exams to ALL students. The Smile Squad is coming to Albright Middle School on Wednesday, April 29th! The Smile Squad is a fully equipped dental truck that provides free dental services to students, including a cleaning and sealants for those who qualify. If your child participates, the Smile Squad will provide proof of an exam that meets the Illinois State school requirements. Consent forms were recently sent home with students. If you are interested in your child participating, please fill out and return the consent form to your child’s health office. Reach out to Danyelle Olsen, District nurse with any questions (dolsen@saltcreek48.org.) Consent forms are due by: Wednesday, April 22nd. See attached Flyer for more information.

Congratulations to 8th grade flutist Leon W. who performed with Northshore Concert Band at Northwestern University as part of their Lifetime of Music Initiative. Congrats Leon!!

After working hard on their iReady lessons for the last month, Albright students earned some reward time on Friday afternoon! Students could choose between board games, a PE game, Geoguessing, owl pellet dissection, a Valentines craft, walking outside, and socializing!

One of our 8th grade students brought in their air raid siren this morning to provide an immersive experience for their current World War II unit!

Congratulations to members of the Albright Band for their performances at the Villa Park Solo and Ensemble Competition on Saturday. Albright band had 31 solo entries and earned 29 Division One medals and 2 Division Two medals. Three Albright band members earned Division One Plus for memorizing!! Congrats to Kyrie M, Kayla C, and Michalina R. Great work band!!

Thanks you Albright students and staff, we collected almost 200 items for the local food pantry. Thanks to the students in Builders Club who organized the event. It was a great way to start the new year

Albright you have two more days to bring donations for the food pantry. The Builders Club appreciates your help.

The AMS builders club is hosting a donation drive for the local food pantry. It begins Monday, January 26th and ends Friday, January 30th. We are looking for donations of non perishable items and cleaning supplies. Students will bring to their anchor time. The anchor time with the most donations will receive donuts one morning. Please consider donating. Thanks!
