Our HUB Clubs have begun. Please view our presentation with permission slips in our AMS HUB Club Brochure!

Drama and/or Improv is for students interested in acting or learning what goes on behind the scenes. The club changes based on student interest each year, we have done plays, after school Improv and every year we have a Variety Show in the Spring. Drama encourages students to be comfortable in their own skin and learn to go with the flow. It focuses on strengths and builds confidence, especially with peers. Drama has a tentative schedule depending on what we plan to do each year. The club fee includes costumes, probs, displays and food and for 2019/20 will be $10. Yearbook Club gives Albright Middle School the opportunity to work towards the completion of the Albright Middle School yearbook. Being in the Yearbook Club allows students to experience photography, computer design, and writing creatively, which combine to create a yearbook that captures the memories of our school year.

There will be some extra events in which students can volunteer to attend to take photos (i.e. Sports events). Yearbook is free to join and runs from September through March. For any questions, please email Mrs. Kasher dkasher@saltcreek48.org.

Student Council is the go-to club if you want to be involved in what goes on at Albright. We do outreach in the community during the holidays and do fundraisers for various other organizations in our area. We also organize student dances throughout the year. Student council is open to all grades, officers may run for an officers position after being a representative for at least 1 year. Student Council is free to join and runs all year, elections are the end of the school year for the next years Officers. AVTV is a new club where students will write and deliver AMS and district news in a televised broadcast to build a sense of community and Viking Pride. News stories would include information about our school, district, and community. Stories may extend beyond local news to a state, national, and global level to include topics of student choice and interest as applicable throughout the school year. This club will begin in October and will meet on Thursdays. Additional meetings for specified student staff may be added but will be announced in advance. Homework HUB is available to all students after school in the LMC on Mondays - Thursdays. This is where students can make up work, get help on homework, and retake tests. Parents provided permission for this HUB Club during the registration process, and students can drop in any day needed. For questions, please contact us at 630-279-6160.

Art Club consists of Albright Middle School students who love the Arts and cannot get enough throughout the school day. The focus of Art Club is to provide an additional space for students to build upon their knowledge, skills, creativity, and passion for the arts. Activities may include personal projects, group projects, and participating in school events. Club membership is $10 for the school year.
