6th graders dissect lilies to learn about the different parts of a plant. We will also be learning about pollinators. Students will use their knowledge to inform their design for a new flowering plant in our upcoming STEM engineering challenge.

6th grade ELA classes were working hard to solve a Reader’s Theater Mystery and decode puzzles in a comprehension Escape Room.
6th grade scientists completed their first lab to gather information on single event versus multiple day spawning events for aquatic life during our first unit in life science.

As the school year continues and Willowbrook hosts events that are open to the community (i.e. sporting events, concerts, etc.), we would like to remind you that elementary/middle school students must have a parent/guardian present when attending these events. Students who arrive without adult supervision will not be allowed entrance to the event.
This expectation is in place for the safety of your student(s) as well as all who are in attendance.
Willowbrook High School students who attend these events are held to the same expectations for behavior as they are during a regular school day and the same is expected of non-Willowbrook spectators.

Good afternoon- Unfortunately Soccer tryouts for this afternoon have been cancelled due to the weather. We will hold tryouts on Tuesday and Wednesday this week.
What a great week at Albright! Thanks to the Villa Park Police, we had an awesome whole school walk this morning. This week was all about building community and teaching our structure and schedules. 2022-23 is off to an incredible start!
