Please read this letter from Ms. Aulisa and Mrs. Ross about how our school's closing will impact Albright students. Everything will stay the same, except for the learning environment. Our weekly schedule will be posted by 7:45am on Monday this week. Have a great weekend.

Albright Middle School will be hosting Virtual Student Led Conferences on Thursday, November 5th between the hours of 2:45pm & 8:00pm. Attached is a letter that was emailed to parents today. We can't wait to virtually see you all soon!

Deanna Hynes will present the Be Seen and Heard© curriculum for parents on Zoom tonight at 7:00pm; the goal of this program is to help your child stay safe from unsafe touch and NOT to keep unsafe secrets of any kind. Please remember when signing the Student Handbook to click on the tile that says, Student Handbook 2020-2021, NOT the Albright 2020.2021 Returning tile or the D48 Family Student. It needs to be accessed from a laptop or ipad. You can not access from the phone skyward app. If you have any questions or concerns, call the office 630-279-6160.

Thanks to all who participated in Mismatch Day today. We had more eLearners by far and are not sure if they intentionally participated, but they were up for the photo anyway. :) Tomorrow is another great one, pajama day! Will the hybrid students catch up to our eLearners?!

Dear Viking Families, Please remember that students must bring their chromebook daily to school. A good way to remember it is to have them plug it in every night close to their backpacks and supplies. Our LMC has limited amounts of extra chrombook's to lend out daily. Thank you!!

Today was AMS’s first day of in person for all hybrid learners. It was amazing to be back. Our eLearners also started a new schedule and did very well adjusting. It is great to get our final schedule rolling. Great work everyone!

Just a reminder that meal pick up is tomorrow, Tuesday, September 29th from 1:00 to 1:30 pm at the District Office (Door #2) on Villa Avenue. Please wear a mask when you pick up your meals. We are a part of the Summer Food Service Program, so any student can have free combo meals! If your child is in attendance for hybrid learning, they will be able to grab a combo meal daily at their dismissal time.

Happy 1st Day of In-Person Learning for our Hybrid 5th Graders! Welcome to Albright Middle School!!! We can't wait to see the rest of our in-person learners on Monday, 9/28.

5th Grade Parents, If for some reason you have not received the schedule in the mail today, and you are a bus rider, please call us at 630-279-6160 before 3pm to find out your bus stop information if you will be using it on Monday. If not, you will get that included in the schedule. The schedules themselves are far less important as kids are not traveling between classes. All we need is for our AM Hybrid students to arrive between 7:30am and 7:40am and our PM Hybrid students to arrive between 11:45am and 11:55am. We will get them to their classroom with no problem. School is from 7:45am - 2:30pm for everyone and our Hybrid students will have their matrices posted by the end of the day on our website. Our eLearners will be starting at 7:45am on Monday with a Morning Meeting with Mrs. Vargas and have been emailed the link they need. The eLearning schedule and matrix will be posted on our website as well. I sent an email this morning with a video explaining everything, so please watch that when you can. See you Monday! We are so excited to get our students back in our buildings. 5th Graders will start a new schedule on Monday, 9/21. We are mailing this information out today, including bus routes. Our 6-8th Grade students will be starting on 9/28 and those schedules will go out soon. We will be sharing a video about our safety procedures and routines this week for you to share with your Albright child(ren). As we finalize all of these details we will be communicating regularly and appreciate your partnership. Go Vikings.
