We are deeply saddened to share that the Villa Park Police highly suggest we postpone our 8th Grade Send-off today 6/1/20 due to the unknown of recent events in our community. We are TENTATIVELY rescheduling this event for Thursday, 6/4/20 at the same time. Everything will stay the same, but please understand, if there is a safety risk there could be changes to come.

Managing screen time can be difficult while your child learns from home. Here are some helpful tips with increased screen use:
1. Don't feel guilty!
2. Content is key: there are many resources for free that provide educational information too!
3. Talk about it: now is the time to learn what your child is up to on their device! Show an interest in what they like.

I always feel appreciated by my school district. This is just another SIGN of how much we are valued in D48. It was hand delivered by superintendent, Dr. Jake Chung. Thanks D48 you made my day.

Adults who are stressed can impact your child’s stress. Negative thoughts can increase stress levels and negative emotions: control your thoughts!
