One way Ss can gain mastery is by teaching their classmates as they did in these cause and effect videos on the American Revolution: https://youtu.be/dVatuTCdbuI

We hope you are having a nice Fall Break. If you have not taken the 5 Essentials Survey, we would love if you could. This survey helps the state rate the climate of our schools, and you can take it for each school you have a student in. https://survey.5-essentials.org/illinois/

AMS Parents, we are using an electronic report card in Skyward this year for the first time. We will mail home any other progress reports if your student gets services. For details on accessing the report card please click here: http://bit.ly/AMSreportcards

Our 7th & 8th graders did amazing work today while volunteering for Feed My Starving Children. They packed enough meals to feed 94 children in Haiti for a whole year. We can’t wait to take our 5th & 6th graders on Thursday.

Good evening parents/guardians of Albright Middle School, Starting November 18th through December 5th, we will be collecting and raising money for our annual Adopt-A-Family. If you didn’t know, Adopt-A-Family is a fundraiser where our school supports a family in need during the holiday season. Where the family struggles to celebrate Christmas, we cheerfully provide it. Every morning, during first hour, homeroom teachers will collect the money and turn it into the Student Council. This year our goal is a whopping $2600; approximately 13 dollars per student. In addition, as a “thank you” from us, the class that raises the most money will receive an ice cream party. Last year we exceeded our goal and we can't wait to do it again! Sincerely, The Student Council By Natalie Rossi, President

Just a reminder that our 7th and 8th grade students will be going to Feed My Starving Children tomorrow, November 19th. We will leave school at 8:40. Please remind students to bring their lunch money or bagged lunch to school. Looking forward to a great day!

7th & 8th grade parents, please check your email. I sent something to those parents of students who have not turned in a permission slip for our field trip on Tuesday. We are very excited about this trip and don’t want anyone left out. They are due tomorrow. If you did not get an email, that means we have yours. Thanks for your help! - Ms. Aulisa
