Albright students start IAR Testing tomorrow, 4/4. It is very important that our students charge their Chromebook and charge themselves by getting a good night's rest during our testing days. We will test the rest of this week and then on 4/11 and 4/13. Eating a good breakfast is suggested, and getting to school on time is essential. Bringing a water bottle and a book to read during testing is helpful too. Wireless headphones are not allowed, so if they have plug-in headphones, have them bring those instead. We will have backups as needed. Tomorrow is a half day, so we will start with a whole school walk to get everyone moving. Please have your child wear comfortable shoes. It would be great if you sent some words of encouragement to your child(ren) each testing day. This can be an email to their school account, text, handwritten note, or even a note on their mirror with a dry-erase marker. Your support is very much appreciated. Sincerely, Ms. Aulisa

Salt Creek District 48 is thrilled to announce the hiring of our new superintendent, Dr. Amy Zaher. Her experience in curriculum and instruction is most impressive and we are lucky to have found such a strong candidate. Please take a moment to welcome Dr. Zaher to the 48 family.

The Albright girls basketball team made their home debut tonight! The 7th grade team played hard and we are proud of their efforts. The 8th grade team moved the ball, made some baskets, and came away with a victory!

Thank you parents and staff for helping chaperone our field trip to Feed My Starving Children. As a school, we packed enough food to feed over 165 children in need for a year. Our students took this very seriously and did an amazing job. Go Vikings!

Due to the weather, 12/23, will be an eLearning day for Albright students. Students should attend classes virtually. We explained how this works to students, but want to make sure you have the directions as well. We have an adjusted schedule, and suggest students set an alarm for 2 minutes before the start time of their Math, SS, Science and ELA classes. Everything is explained in this document: https://docs.google.com/document/d/18pZmAVKWFRWNmMbkAJ0jDUXKiC_sT0Vl-UTNN_oV2Tg/edit?usp=sharing We have also posted these instructions in Google Classroom as well. Stay warm and have a wonderful winter break after class tomorrow. Sincerely, Ms. Aulisa
