Salt Creek School District 48

The Believe Kids Fundraiser packets went home with your child this week! There are a lot of nice items in the catalog that can be used as holiday gifts - or as a gift for yourself! Also a ton of wrapping paper to stock up for the holidays! A percentage of all sales goes to FTC, which will be given to the school for teacher requests, school parties and dances. This is the only fundraiser we are going to do before the holidays. A couple of things to note: Orders are due Friday 10/13/2023 You can place your order via online at www.shopfund.com under "salt creek" for the school! You are welcome to sell to family, friends, and neighbors! Even ordering a couple of items helps out!

Miss Kerrigan/Mrs.Clancy's 1st Grade class earned a school prize drop today for receiving multiple compliments in the hall! They landed on a "Drop and Draw" break for the whole school! Way to go Little Vikings!

Mrs. Guidice's 1st Grade class earned a school prize drop today for walking to specials at a level zero voice! Two different teachers complimented them! Our prize drop landed on Tattoo Fun! All students will be coming home with a temporary tattoo today. Way to go Little Vikings!

Mrs. O's Kindergarten class earned a school prize drop today! Our drop landed on Pajama Day! Tomorrow 9/15 - ALL SALT CREEK PRIMARY STUDENTS (PK-1) can wear pajamas to school! We hope to see all PARENTS tonight at curriculum night from 6-7pm. Way to go Little Vikings!

"Everything is Awesome" at Salt Creek Primary! We had our first prize drop of the school year! Mrs. Lindeen's class earned a prize drop for packing up at a level 0 volume yesterday. We did a prize drop today and it landed on DANCE PARTY! Fun was had by all. (Staff included!)

Our first Pokémon Night was a great success! Big thanks to FTC for coordinating a wonderful event!

FTC's first Pokemon Night is tomorrow! Join us from 6:30-8pm this Wednesday September 6th at Salt Creek School. Show off your cards, trade with friends or just come and see what all the excitement is about. Make a Pokémon pikachu craft, trade cards, learn about Pokémon, have Pokémon snacks and hang out with friends!! All district families are welcome! There will also be a chance to enter to win a pikachu pillow!

Dear Albright Families, Please log into your Skyward Account for each of your children to acknowledge that you read/received the DISTRICT HANDBOOK by September 8th. Physicals are needed for all 6th graders and student-athletes. Tryouts for soccer and girls volleyball will start right away, and an updated (less than a year old) physical is required to tryout. You can now see previous physicals in Skyward by clicking the green menu bars --> Health --> Physicals. Our Meet the Teacher/Supply Drop off event is on Tuesday, 8/22/23, from 1:00 - 2:00pm. Please park on our blacktop (Off of Myrtle) and enter through Door 5, the interior corner door. 5th Graders were sent a signup email for a more personalized experience from Mrs. Pastore. If you have questions about this event, please email her at spastore@saltcreek48.org. 6th - 8th Grade students can move into their lockers, walk their schedules, and meet their teachers.
